Build Your Own Book Club: DIY Style:

Last but not least, why not make your own?Ā Follow these steps, and creating your own backyard book club will be a breeze.

  1. First, choose a book from #SRC2016. There are a lot of books out there but we narrowed down the best reads for summer and compiled them for the ultimate summer reading challenge.
  2. Second, join the challenge here. On top of having access to the best books of the summer, there are monthly giveaways, grand prizes and top-secret treats. Third, throw a festive DIY get-together with your friends to kick off your book club. Try making these simple but scrumptious Apple Pie Bites from The Blond Cook. These small but flavor-packed bites leave a hand free to hold a book, too. And a summer book club wouldnā€™t be complete without a signature cocktail, try this watermelon-strawberry sangria to sweeten up your event (you can also replace the alcohol with 7-Up.)
  3. Lastly, share your event with us by using #SRC2016. We love to see others getting their summer reading on!

Interested in hosting your own book club and plan to do this backyard party? If you’re interested in scheduling a Skype discussion with one of our SRC authors – let us know! We’re building out own book club list, too!
