Each essay in this book reminded me I am not alone, and reassured me that yes, I am crazy. 

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

I’m sorry but Amy Dunne is a certifiable genius. Gillian Flynn inspires me to write terrifying characters you can’t help but love. 

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

This is a book that hit me hard after I graduated college. It is Plath’s only novel and I’m sad she didn’t stick around to write more. 

 Tribes by Seth Godin

The book that made me fall in love with PR. 

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

Liz Gilbert is everything. I’ve read this book twice (once before seeing the movie, and again after I saw the movie). She is divine. Also, she’s one of Oprah’s Lifeclass people and I listen to whatever Oprah tells me.
