In honor of #BookSparksTurns10, this month we’re highlighting our sister brand She Writes and all the goodness the community brings.

2009

In 2009, She Writes was founded by Kamy Wicoff with the goal of supporting, encouraging and educating writers, to provide them with a place that is both inspirational and practical.

2012

In response to the barriers in traditional publishing for women, in 2012 Kamy and Brooke Warner founded She Writes Press, the hybrid publishing arm of She Writes.

2014 – now

She Writes was acquired by SparkPoint Studio in 2014, where it has continued to grow and flourish as the largest online community for female writers and storytellers.

Each month, She Writes partners with an acclaimed female author at the top of her game to dish their tips and tricks on writing. Here are three of our favorite guest editors of all time!
