She Writes Press

She Writes Press is an all-women publishing imprint that grew out of the website SheWrites.com. Most of the books published on SWP are memoir, literary fiction, or women’s fiction, but there are a handful of YA, genre fiction, and non-fiction titles on the list as well. As She Writes Press has become a bigger player in the publishing landscape, we’ve been able to raise standards for vetting new manuscripts, but with a cap of just 40 titles a season, the lists keep filling up faster and faster!

SparkPress

SparkPress is a smaller imprint that accepts authors of all genders. Being on a smaller imprint allows for more individualized attention from our sales team. SP grew out of BookSparks, the publicity company. Most of the books published on SP are genre fiction, YA, and middle grade, but there are a handful of memoir, non-fiction, literary fiction, and children’s titles on the list. SparkPress does not currently have a list cap, usually publishing 8-15 titles a season.

SheBooks

SheBooks is the newest acquisition to the SparkPoint Studio family. As part of the acquisition in 2018, it was rebranded as an ebook-only publisher. SheBooks only publishes women, and the titles are for women on the go—each title is under 40,000 words. The seasons are not as clearly defined on this imprint, because with an ebook, we only need about 6 months to get your book publish-ready.
