We’ve picked out a selection of the best books that are sure to make you laugh and to sweep you off your feet. This is Crystal’s favorite rom-com! “She’s a brilliant voice for smart, savvy chick lit and romantic comedies.” An Irish girl living in New York gets in over her head, so her parents bring her home and enroll her in some group therapy.

2. Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella

 Erin’s pick is about a financial journalist in her own world of debt from her shopping habit.

3. Bridget Jones’s Diary by Helen Fielding

This is Allyson’s pick. Bridget Jones, a single thirty-something, documents her love life, her weight and her career in her diary.

4. The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger

In Kim’s favorite rom-com, a just-out-of-college girl lands the perfect job, with an impossible boss.

5. Smart Women by Judy Blume

In Sierra’s pick, two divorcees are trying to reinvent their lives in Colorado while their daughters watch with horror and humor.
