I’m trucking along nicely on @booksparks summer reading challenge. I enjoyed Woman No. 17 a lot more than Into the Water. There was only two different character POVs instead of, well, too many. However, though I enjoyed it, it felt like I was “watching” a train wreck waiting to happen. There were some parts that made me say yeah, right and other parts that made me uncomfortable (i.e. animal abuse), but I couldn’t stop reading it! Probably because the characters were so unlikable that I wanted to see how it all ended.
