We have so much to celebrate after 15 years of BookSparks, and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible and supportive community. To express our gratitude, we granted 15 bookish wishes to promote literacy across various communities. Followers were invited to nominate a dedicated book lover, someone who encourages reading amongst others, including themselves, and explain how we can grant their bookish wishes.

We were blown away by all the creative ways in which people encourage reading and were inspired by their acts. After much thought, 15 wishes were granted to various deserving readers from little free library stewards to teachers stocking their classrooms, and female prisoners to book lovers fallen on hard times. BookSparks hand-selected stacks of books for each unique wish, along with our birthday tote, hat, and stickers for both the nominees and nominators. We were honored to be a small part in helping them continue to spread a love of reading in their communities.
