Netflix is a streaming service that offers a wide variety of award-winning TV shows, movies, anime, documentaries, and more on thousands of internet-connected devices. There’s always something new to discover and new TV shows and movies are added every week.

Since 2012, Netflix has taken more of an active role as producer and distributor for both film and television series, and to that end, offers a variety of “Netflix Original” content through its online library. Netflix has received dozens of nominations for the Golden Globe Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards, Peabody Awards, and the Academy Awards.  In January 2021, Netflix reached 203.7 million subscribers, including 73 million in the United States.
