Liquor was once thought to be medicine.
Bartenders were pharmacists
Cures for all ailments in the form of herbs were brought from around and blended into tinctures and decoctions.
The wealthiest consumed medicine for fun.
Gilded Wolves Cocktail Recipe:
1.5 oz gin
.5 green chartreuse
.5 absinthe
.5 coconut water
Salted Pandan Foam
1 Egg white
Pandan simple syrup
Please indulge responsibly.
Non-alcoholic Recipe:
3/4 egg white.
3/4 oz pandan syrup. ( 3 cups water 3 cups sugar boiled with fresh pandan leaves tied in knots)
Muddled fennel optional.
Shake and serve over ice.
