It was a big week for our clients at BookSparksPR. We had so much great coverage it was impossible to narrow it down to five. Here’s where you can find our clients this week:

1. Dr. Andrea Bonior on Martha Stewart Living Radio

Dr. Andrea Bonior – author of THE FRIENDSHIP FIX – was on Martha Stewart Living Radio this week.

More about THE FRIENDSHIP FIX:

Had enough of that bridezilla? Feeling alone in a new city? Dealing with the trauma of the worst breakup ever—with someone you never even made out with?

We’ve heard the path to fulfillment has much to do with relationships. But while it’s often thought that for young women, it’s all about finding the right man, real women beg to differ: It’s friendships that are at the heart of happiness. Unfortunately, they’re also at the heart of drama, stress, and sometimes not-so-great escapades after that fifth martini. And, technology, from texting to Facebook, has made all friendships more complicated than ever.

At last comes The Friendship Fix, jam-packed with practical ways to improve your life by improving your circle. From dealing with friends-with-benefits to coworkers from the dark side, from feeling alone to being desperate to defriend a few dozen people, Andrea Bonior, Ph.D. helps you make the most of your friendships, whether they be old, new, online, or in person.

2. Allie Larkin on Glamour.com/Chick Lit Plus

Allie Larkin (author of STAY) was featured on Glamour.com this week with a widely popular article about living with adult ADD. The article was subsequently picked up by NY Daily News.

Glamour even featured a follow-up article: 10 Ways I Cope with Adult ADD.

Here is a highlight from the first article:

“I bought a 3-pack of underwear at a big box store last year–the sensible kind that don’t bunch or show through jeans. When I got home, I plunked my shopping bag down on a chair in the living room. I put my other purchases away, but since I wanted to wash the underwear before I wore them, I left them on the chair so I could grab them on my next trip downstairs to the laundry. And there they sat–for weeks and weeks.”

3. Elise Allen on TV Guide/Maria Menounos on POPULAZZI website

Elise Allen was featured on TV Guide discussing the cast of her novel POPULAZZI and who should play the book’s character on the small screen. Here’s a peek at her top choices (check out the article for more):

“Cara Leonard:
‘She needs to be great with comedy, but also honest and likeable, even when she messes up big time,” Allen says. “I love Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland. As Haley Dunphy, she nails exactly what I’m talking about. I can totally see her making her way up the ladder, fumbling believably every step of the way.  She’d make you laugh even as she’s making you wince.'”

Also this week, check out Access Hollywood host Maria Menounos on Populazzi.com. She has a very inspirational post about what she was like in high school.

4. Auryn on School Library Journal

Auryn was featured on School Library Journal talking about their “neverending” stories. Here is a clip from the article:

“Fans of Michael Ende’s The Neverending Story may recognize the reference to the amulet in that book in the Auryn name. As Umesh Shukla, founder of the Los Angeles-based company, notes, Auryn, Inc. is ‘all about creating neverending stories.’

“Auryn burst onto the children’s digital scene picking up a 2011 Appy Award in the book category for Teddy’s Day, a production based on Brüno Hachler and Birte Müller’s picture book, What Does My Teddy Bear Do All Day? (Minedition/Penguin, 2005). The app answers that question in the way only an app can, adding delightful animation and a host of interactive options to the book’s images and text.”

5. Crystal Patriarche on My Go Local Provo

Crystal chatted with Reading with Robin for her local books column this week. In the piece, she shared some of her favorite summer reads and more on the Summer Reading Challenge.

Here is a highlight from the article:

Crystal Patriarche, founder and publicist of SparksPR Agency, spoke with me a couple of months ago about the Summer Reading Challenge which can be found on her Web site. She says it’s been a lot of fun and people are continuing to sign up (not too late!). Crystal tells me “the readers really like the social media and interactive nature of the challenge…to be rewarded for reading and to discover some great summer reads.” Due to its success she is planning on making this an annual challenge and perhaps adding in smaller campaigns such as a Fall reading challenge or a Holiday campaign.”

My Go Local Prov piece from today where I was interviewed with my picks for summer reads
