You might recognize Tiffani Thiessen from the beloved television shows, Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills 90210. (We are totally fan-girling!) We want you to #hitthebookclub and read with us all fall-long. Whether your book club chooses one of our picks as a fall read, or you’d like to read along with us on your own, let’s break it down together with these far out reads.  Be there or be square, here’s how!

The Testament by Margaret Atwood

Finally, It’s here! The Handmaid’s Tale was written by Atwood in 1985 and for those of us who read it then (or a decade later even) we’ve had to wait until now to find out Offred’s fate. Brilliant.

The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates

Such a hard but beautiful book – Coates is a gifted story teller and this book is such a gift.

The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai

This is The Girly Book Club’s official September book and I have to say it’s my favorite book this year – it jumps between 1985 at the height of the Aids epidemic and 30 years later in Paris giving such incredible insight into the destruction and pain this disease brought.

Miracle Creek by Angie Kim

What a page turner this is! An incredible debut novel by Kim. Secrets, betrayal, alliances – all thrown in to make it a epic win.
