Amy Hatvany is the author of Best Kept Secret, Outside the Lines, The Language of Sisters, Heart Like Mine, and Safe with Me. She joins BookSparks to share her newest novel, Somewhere Out There, telling the story of sisters who are given up by their mother and lead diverging lives until they reunite to find the woman who walked away from them.

 

Polly Dugan joins BookSparks to release the paperback edition of her most recent book The Sweetheart Deal. She is the award-winning author of the linked story collection So Much a Part of You, which writer Alan Heathcock said “announces the arrival of a potent and fresh new voice” in fiction. Our very own Brooke Warner, publisher for our sister company She Writes Press and accomplished author, joins BookSparks to share her new book, Green-Light Your Book: How Writers can Succeed in the New Era of Publishing. It’s a straight-shooting guide to the changing publishing industry, written for aspiring authors, previously published authors and independent publishers. Welcome, Brooke, we heart you big time!

Please join us in welcoming television writer Lisa Henthorn to the studio. Lisa wrote the CBS show Swingtown, the CW’s The Beautiful Life and The Glades on A&E. She joins BookSparks to share her debut novel, 25 Sense. It tells the story of television writer Claire Malone and the time in a young woman’s life when the world starts to view her as a responsible adult, even if she still feels lost.  She has been compared to Sophie Kinsella, Jennifer Weiner, Candace Bushnell and Helen Fielding.
