Celebrities are changing the book world by sharing their favorite reads on their Instagram feeds and with their online book clubs. Reese Witherspoon’s online book club has grown to over 400,000 followers since launching in 2015. It has also notably led to the Reese adapting a few of her favorite books like Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty and Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng into television series with her production company Hello Sunshine. Belletrist, Emma Robert’s online book club has also taken off in recent years and has over 100,000 members. Entertainment Weekly recently showcased the power of celebrity book clubs in changing the book world and we wanted to recognize a few of our favorite female celebs who are embracing the power of reading.

Beloved star of The Office and The Mindy Project, Mindy Kaling shared the books that are on her shelf, including Before the Fall by Noah Hawley and Hunger by Roxane Gay.
